Evenda Dench Research Grants Manager | University of Western Australia Dr Evenda Dench is Research Manager (Pre-Award) in the UWA Office of Research. She has broad experience working in research development roles across professional services and academic settings. She is experienced at providing strategic advice to researchers about framing proposals for research funding as well as identifying and facilitating multidisciplinary research collaborations. As Research Grants Manager, she has extensive knowledge on coordinating and assisting researchers with the preparation of research grant proposals

Set Yourself Up for Grant Success 

The WA Department of Health Office of Medical Research and Innovation and The University of Western Australia are co-hosting a grant writing workshop for allied health researchers to develop skills in writing grant applications and improve success rates in winning funding. Drawing on WA funding opportunities such as the Western Australian Future Health Research and Innovation Fund, we will focus on how to position yourself, how to identify key information that should be presented in a proposal, ways of presenting this information, storytelling, and language. Hear tips and advice from experienced researchers and university research office speakers on how to write a winning application.
