Anne-marie Boxall

MPH (Hons), PhDChief Allied Health Officer | Australian Government, Department of Health and Aged Care

Dr Anne-marie Boxall trained as a physiotherapist and worked in the public and private sectors. For more than a decade, Dr Boxall has worked in high-level policy roles in the Australian Public Service and non-government organisations, most recently as a senior executive to the Department of Health and Aged Care.

She holds a Master of Public Health (Hons) and PhD in health policy.

Allied health professionals play a vital role in sustaining the health and wellbeing of Australians. Recent announcements in the federal Budget will improve access to allied health care for those most in need. In this presentation, the Commonwealth Government Chief Allied Health Officer will outline the levers the federal government has to support access to allied health care and help the sector identify ways it can continue expanding its horizons.
